The Friends of Norfolk Mills met at the Ferry Inn at Stokesby for their Christmas Lunch. The Ferry Inn is situated beside the River Bure in the village of Stokesby, once home to three mills, two of which still remain. It was cold and frosty day but a warm welcome greeted our arrival. Selections were made from the menu and we were soon seated in the tastefully decorated restaurant. The food was hot and very good, all accompanied by a glass of wine or hot coffee. A good time was enjoyed by everyone!
